Family Outings

I'm incredibly thankful for my family, after the crazy summer I've had, running around the Americas and shooting some weddings, it has been lovely to have the last couple of weeks with just the family that I love.
They are crazy, better than a television show, very into adventures (wonder where I get it?), say awesome and ridiculous things, and we all love each other oh so very much.

We had an amazing day wandering around San Francisco and exploring trails and brand new places in Golden Gate Park together.
Enjoy our pictures!
Here is my wonderful family.

My 14 year old sister and the 5 year old planking on the path in the park. I'm so very proud of them. :D

This is my hair. :D

Jonathon: Senior PIctures

"Can you take pictures of my senior at camp?"
This was the message that I got from Jonathon's mom while I was in Honduras this summer. I've known Jonathon and his family ever since I moved to NorCal. Jonathon was on my volleyball team for a year before I left for College and I've always been so encouraged by his family.

A year and a half ago or so they moved to Hawaii to plant a church, but Jonathon and his brothers were coming back for a week to attend our Youth Summer Camp. I'd never thought of doing senior pictures at summer camp, but as soon as it was suggested I was so excited, this place is special for me and for every other kid who has attended the camp.

Have a great senior year Jonathon! I can't wait to see what God does with your life!

Travis and Julie's Wedding

Some weddings leave an impression on me, Travis and Julie's backyard garden wedding is definitely one of these. Not only was the day beautiful, but there was an air of old-fashioned grace and style present in the details, in the venue (a restored victorian mansion) and Julie's gorgeous dress. Even more than the setting and the weather, the thing that impressed me the most was the relationship between the bride and groom. Travis' goofy happy leadership and Julie's calm excitement to be marrying Travis were the high point for me. When they saw each other for the first time that day in their first look, Travis spun her around with a look of awe on his face, and they were so happy to be together, getting married.

Thanks for letting me be there to experience your wedding, guys!

Thank you Yuliya for second shooting for me! You are awesome!
