The Family and the Forest

Since we moved to Florida, we have met many new people, but we will always have a great love in our hearts for those whom we left behind in California. This separation is made far easier when we get to see them, and this past weekend some of our dear friends came out to see us! We were especially excited because they have a 3 month old baby and we all just get very excited about babies. ^_^

I wanted to do pictures with Dan and Amanda, their eldest lovely Cora, their loud wonderful hobbit child Emma, and our little squishy Charlie, so we went out and found some Spanish moss and had some fun.

Caleb

I have this amazing little brother, his name is Caleb and he says hilarious things.
One of my favorite things about him is how comfortable he is just being excited about something and going out and doing it because he thinks it's cool. He's not easily intimidated by much, and he has quite the sense of adventure.

He's a dinosaur wrestler, a soap bubble chaser, and someone who's not afraid to sit on the ground when it's wet.

He got bit by the dinosaur over the course of these photos and was pretty sure that he needed to be left-handed now, but we're holding out hope for a steady recovery. And we picked up our photoshoot the next day for some bubbles through my humidity-fogged up lens.
