Reggie and Alyssa: Engagement

When Alyssa graduated from High School and joined youth group staff she and Reggie ended up being put on the same volleyball team as coaches for our church's summer volleyball outreach. A few years of coaching and hanging out and being friends later, they started dating and now they are getting married! 

Their San Francisco engagement session was so much fun, complete with some awesome walls, a laundromat, and some gorgeous delicious light!

Tahra and Don: Engagement

They met through friends, three years ago, and wrote the day they met on a pair of dice. As we talked and I shot during the session Tahra would laugh with just a bit of camera shyness and Don would smile and kiss her as we walked through classy and beautiful parts of San Francisco. They are fun to be around, sweet, and such a good looking couple! I can't wait to shoot their wedding in May!

Second shooting loves

I was going through my photos and found some photos that I shot at a wedding I second shot for my friend Beckie of Becka-Jayne Photography and i thought I would categorize them on here and explain some of the reasons I love shooting (and/or second shooting) weddings.

(usually they end up making me laugh way more than I probably make them laugh)

When I'm second shooting I enjoy capturing things from angles that I wouldn't normally focus on.

Yah, there are a lot more reasons I love shooting weddings, but these are definitely up there on top of that list of reasons. ;)
